The Lunch Recess module (Figure 1) encompasses four key components, each serving a distinct function:
Lunch Tracking Page: This page facilitates the tracking of lunch receipts for students through both manual entry and QR Code scanning. It provides a comprehensive interface for recording and managing lunch data efficiently (Figure 2).
Lunch Plan Page: Here, users can create daily plans for student lunches, ensuring a structured approach to meal provision. This feature allows for easy scheduling and organization of lunch offerings to meet the needs of students and staff. In order to add a new meal plan, you need to click "Actions" - "Create Lunch Plan" (Figure 3-4).
Lunch Report Page: The Lunch Report page offers a detailed overview of the daily lunch plan, showcasing both planned and served meals. This functionality enables administrators to monitor adherence to meal schedules and make informed decisions based on consumption data (Figure 5).
Meal Types Page: This page serves as a configuration hub for specifying and customizing specific meal types. In order to create a new meal type, you need to click "Actions" - "Create Meal" (Figure 6-7).
Together, these components form a comprehensive lunch management system, enhancing efficiency, organization, and oversight within the school's lunch recess operations.
