Open 'Lunch Recess' → 'Lunch Tracking' left sidebar navigation item using the School Account (Figure 1).
To access this section, you must be signed in as a Teacher of the School Account, which should be selected at the top of the page.
The Lunch Tracking page includes:
Tracking Log: Displays a table of recorded student lunch receipts within the school. Users can filter entries by Meal Type, Sections, Students, and Time.
QR Entry: Automatically records student lunches by scanning their unique QR Codes, streamlining the tracking process.
Track Lunch: Enables manual tracking of student lunches. Users select a student and record their lunch receipt directly.
Manage Records: Allows users to Edit or Delete recorded lunch entries for accuracy and management.
To track lunch using the QR Code Scanner, follow the next steps:
Click the 'QR Entry' button (Figure 2). The Scan QR to Track Lunch will be opened (Figure 3).
Ensure access to the camera from your device. The rear camera of the device will be launched by default.
Focus the camera on the QR code of the particular student (Figure 4).
If the scanned QR Code corresponds to a student registered in the school, the lunch intake will be recorded, and a notification will appear in the top right corner to confirm the successful recording of the student's lunch activity (Figure 5).
If the scanned QR Code does not correspond to any student registered in the school, a notification stating 'Student not found' will be displayed.
If you scan the student's QR Code for the second time in a day, a confirmation window will appear (Figure 6). In the confirmation window, the teacher will be prompted to agree to track an additional meal by selecting 'Ok', or to cancel the action by clicking 'Cancel' in the case of an erroneous scan.
After closing the 'Scan QR to Track Lunch' window, all lunch intakes will be promptly displayed in the Lunch Tracking log.
To manually track Lunch intake:
Click the 'Track Lunch' button.
In the opened window (Figure 7), select the following data:
Meal Type: Choose the exact meal to be served to the student.
Section: Specify the student's section, which delineates the division of students within the school.
Tracking Time: Automatically captures the current date and time, but can be adjusted as needed.
Quantity: Defaults to 1 but can be adjusted and updated as needed.
After selecting the required details, click 'Submit'. The lunch intake will then be recorded and displayed in the Lunch Tracking log.
To edit an existing record, select the 'Edit Lunch Entry' action from the context menu of the respective record, and adjust any desired values within the opened window (Figure 8).
To delete an existing record, choose the 'Delete' action from the context menu of the respective record, and confirm the deletion to remove the entry permanently (Figure 9).
