Meal Types

On the Meal Types page, users have the ability to create and manage different types of meals served within a specific school. This feature empowers users to customize and organize meal options according to the school's preferences.

1. Open 'Lunch Recess' → 'Meal Types' left sidebar navigation item using the School Account (Figure 1).

2. Meal Types page includes:

   • List of Created Meals: List of Meal Types created within the school. Users can filter the list by caption and status (Active or Archived).

   • Manage Meals: Users have the ability to edit or delete previously created meal types.

   • Create Meals: Allows users to create a new Meal Type, providing flexibility in customizing meal options according to the school's requirements.

Create Meal Type

1. Click on the 'Create Meal' button to initiate the process. This action will prompt the appearance of the 'Create Meal' window (Figure 2).

1. Within the 'Create Meal' window, input the Meal Caption, Order By value, and Status.

The 'Order By' value specifies the custom sequence number that determines the order in which the created Meal Type will be displayed in the select dropdown across the platform, relative to other Meal Types

1. After confirming the details, click on the 'Submit' button to finalize the creation of the new Meal Type.
