Art School Settings¶
⚠️ Access to the system with Administrator permissions is required to work with this section.
The platform includes a dedicated set of tools designed specifically for the needs of art educational institutions. These sections allow organizing the educational process considering the specifics of art education: maintaining art journals, working with specialized assessment forms, configuring study levels, departments, and event levels.
This guide describes the "Settings" menu sections available specifically for art schools, their purpose, and configuration process to ensure proper educational workflow on the platform.
Art School Workspace Modules¶
Before starting work in the art school workspace, the corresponding module must be activated.
To do this:
- Navigate to "Settings" → "Workspace Modules".
- Find the "Art Journal" module and click "Enable". The "Academic Year" and "Journal" modules must be enabled beforehand.

After activating this module, the following sections will appear in the "Settings" menu:
- departments;
- study levels;
- control forms;
- events levels; -
In the general navigation menu on the left, the "Art Journals" section will appear with the following subsections:
- group journal
- individual journal
- concertmaster journal
- art events
- groups on events
- concertmaster on events
- sick leaves
- study online
Art School Departments¶
An art school department is an educational unit that groups students, teachers, and subjects according to a specific area of art education. For example: music, visual arts, choreography, or theater departments. Departments are used to organize the educational process and structure educational programs.
Examples of art school departments (depending on the institution profile):

- Piano Department
- String Instruments Department
- Wind and Percussion Instruments Department

To add a new department to the art school workspace:
- Navigate to "Settings" → "Departments".
- Click the "Add" button in the upper-right corner of the page.
- Fill in the "Name" field.
- Click "Submit".
- To edit/remove an art school department, select the required department from the list, click the context menu button on the right, and choose the required action.
Art School Study Levels¶
A study level in an art school is a stage or level of education within a selected art direction that defines program complexity, learning outcomes, and requirements for students. Study levels are used to distribute students according to their level of preparation and organize the educational process.
Examples: beginner, basic, advanced, specialized sublevels.
To add a new study level to the platform:
- Navigate to "Settings" → "Study levels".
- Click the "Add" button in the upper-right corner of the page.
- Fill in the "Sequence" and "Name" fields.
- Click "Submit".
- To edit/remove an educational sublevel, select the required sublevel from the list, click the context menu button on the right, and choose the required action.
Control Forms in Art School¶
Control forms in an art school are methods of evaluating students’ academic achievements and assessing their practical and creative skills. Control forms are used to determine the level of curriculum mastery and monitor student progress.
Examples: academic concert, credit assessment, examination, control class, artwork review, creative presentation, performance, certification.
To add a new control form for an art school on the platform:
- Navigate to "Settings" → "Control Forms".
- Click the "Add" button in the upper-right corner of the page.
- Fill in the "Name" field.
- Click "Submit".
- To edit/remove an assessment form, select the required form from the list, click the context menu button on the right, and choose the required action.
Event Levels in Art School¶
Event levels in an art school are categories of events based on their scale, significance, or stage of implementation. They are used to classify concerts, competitions, exhibitions, and other artistic activities within the educational process.
Examples: school-level, city-level, district-level, regional-level, national-level, international-level.
To add a new event level for an art school on the platform:
- Navigate to "Settings" → "Event Levels".
- Click the "Add" button in the upper-right corner of the page.
- Fill in the "Sequence" and "Name" fields.
- Click "Submit".
- To edit/remove an event level, select the required level from the list, click the context menu button on the right, and choose the required action.
